As a PayPipe™ Sender, you can send transactions to acquirers, PSP (Payment Service Provider) or scheme operators via PayPipe™. We call the recipients of these transactions the Receivers. As a Sender you can be a PSP, and in particular cases also an acquirer or scheme operator, depending on whether you are primarily interested in connecting payment methods. PayPipe™ is a routing gateway enabling Payment Providers such as PSPs, acquirers and scheme operators with global online payment processing via one interface. With PayPipe™, PAY.ON operates and maintains the biggest and fastest growing network worldwide with regard to connections to providers (i.e. connectors) and schemes.
Our performance promises for PayPipe™ ensure maximum flexibility, maximum performance and very high speed in terms of transmitting transaction data.
Maximum flexibility
Our promise regarding maximum performance means that all data formats (e.g. XML, GICC, URL/per GET) and transaction types (e.g. preauthorization (PA), capture (CP), debit (DB), credit (CD), 3-D Secure (3D), refund (RF), reversal (RV)) considered as part of electronic payment processing can be transmitted via our routing gateway. In addition, we guarantee that we can normally activate you for every payment method already connected to PayPipe™ (i.e. every receiver-connector) within 24 hours. Not previously connected payment methods are connected within 5 weeks.
PayPipe™ supports all payment methods on which schemes are based, e.g. credit card, debit card or direct debit. PayPipe™ also supports the transmission of all transaction data, all currencies and point systems, such as:
- state currencies (e.g. USD, EUR)
- virtual currencies (e.g. Facebook Credits, Linden Dollar)
- points from point systems (e.g. Miles&More, Payback)
Maximum performance
Our promise of maximum performance means that all data formats considered as part of electronic payment processing ("transaction types") can be transmitted via the PayPipe™ routing gateway, e.g. Preauthorisation (PA), Capture (CP), Debit (DB), Credit (CD) and 3-D Secure (3D).

By integrating PayPipe™ into your system, we promise you a technology guaranteeing very high speed. Data is sent with a processing speed of less than 100 ms. Our system ensures an availability of 99.99%.
How do you become a PayPipe™ Sender?
As a PayPipe™ Sender, you connect your system to our routing gateway. Our Gateway Management reliably and competently supports you in connecting, testing and qualification. Operations and maintenance are carried out in close cooperation with your technical contact. In addition, we guarantee to activate you for every payment method or scheme already connected to PayPipe™ (i.e. every receiver-connector) within 24 hours. Not previously connected payment methods or schemes are connected within 5 weeks.
